Testerkorea Haul + How to set up your Etude House Princess Makeup Table

Hi everyone!

I'm here today with a small Testerkorea haul :D As well as a quick review on the Etude House Princess Makeup Table.

I ordered on May 15, it shipped out on May 19, and it arrived on May 28 - I live in Australia so I'm very impressed with the fast shipping time! It seems like TK really has gotten their act together!



The huge box cardboard box! Seemed very excessive for what I ordered, I wondered why...



Opening the box up made it clear why the box was huge... There was so much foam and bubble wrap omg.



Here are all my things wrapped up! No free samples unfortunately :( Boo.

How cute is the big cardboard box? That's the Etude House Princess Makeup Table in there!

I really struggled with it - I originally filmed a video but it was a complete failure :c



The instructions...

My version! HOW TO PUT TOGETHER AN ETUDE HOUSE PRINCESS MAKEUP TABLE! C;

Step 1: Put the long things in the base



Step 2: After you understand how the things click, use the glue included!



Step 3: Put the top on



Step 4: Put the other top thing on



Step 5: Insert the triangles into however high you'd like them



The triangles are quite weak so after you've experimented with them a bit, you should glue those on too.

And just like that, you're done!

I'm pretty pleased I figured it out - even with my repetitive failing and confusion at fairly easy to follow instructions, it only took me about 10 minutes.

I thought a picture guide would help other people like me. I tried looking for one at some point because I was a bit lost :P

I love this! The top is deceptively deep and I can reach for everything so much more easily than my clunky previous system,

And it looks so cute and pink! I'M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS.

As for my experiences with TesterKorea - I'm surprised at how fast they shipped out after hearing horror stories. I ordered from Jolse on the same day (only one item) and my TK order arrived faster! No free samples though :'( I cry a little inside. I think I got some good items at a price I was very happy to pay though!

Memebox Superbox #70 Thumbs up! Bloggers' Picks Unboxing & Review!

Hi everyone!!

My second last unboxing, so I'm going to spread this over two posts :)



The items all spread out :) I didn't take a picture in the box, whoops! The box was quite big though =3






For $37, the value is actually rather disappointing compared to other $30 boxes... It also doesn't follow the 'blogger pick' concept for a few various reasons... (some of the products were only released after the survey was even out)
BUT I bought the box anyway because Memebox wasn't shipping to Australia anymore, and it was still a good deal compared to buying the pink cream by itself for full price =)

The gel texture of the pink cream is really interesting and I love the sparkles inside! I can't wait to try it properly :)

I really want to try the vitamin cleaning dessert but I have so many cleansers I've tried and not finished :( Both flavours (lemon and cacao) I'm actually quite endeared to..

I tihnk the Glactomyces really did leave "Dylan's" skin glowing looking! And it's been genuinely raved about by bloggers, so I'm definitely excited to use that ^^

Overall, I'm satisfied with the box, but it's not the best thing in the world :P

That Dermalift stuff is seriously amazing!

I don't personally have dry skin but the value is definitely there and it really feels nice on the skin! Tested it on someone else's dry skin for you guys, heh :P 3 sample bottles basically makes a full size worth of product to be $42 worth! This product is really popular amongst the meme-girls and is reason enough to buy any restocks of this box.

Memebox Christmas Collection!

Hello everybunny!

Today I have for you guys a very belated post about the series of Christmas boxes I received in January!




Memebox Christmas Collection #2 My Holiday Glam








It's been a while since I've done the video and to be perfectly honest the only thing I've used from this box has been the mirror :P The mirror is SO cool though!
I just don't need a new eyeliner or BB cream right now, but I think they will come into use eventually (: I stand by this box being good value haha





Memebox Christmas Collection #1 Stress Free Holiday









I haven't tried the lipgloss yet but I do hang it on my cosmetic purse and still think it looks adorable heh~

I also quite enjoy the dress perfume even though it's not really cosmetic/skincare related! I like the scent and although it doesn't last long, it smells nice.

The armpit deodorant I didn't really like. I thought it would be useful but it just hasn't been. :(

I'm honestly just hoping to love the Shara Shara cream, so I can't safely say whether this box has been worth it for me yet :P


Memebox Christmas Collection #4 K Beauty Wrap Up 2

I've been using the eye cream and I always love getting masks, so this box was just great!

Although to be honest I haven't tried any of those masks yet, my nose has not been particularly troubling and I have some nice chocolatey masks for when I do xD

I'm not really a fan of skincare that feels "cooling" but I'll still give the masks a try nonetheless!

And if the concealer works well I'm excited to give it a try after I use up my canmake one :)


My Overall Thoughts

The Memebox Christmas collection were pretty good and I'll really miss Memebox. I'm hesitant to destash knowing that I won't be able to order form Memebox anymore, and these are all products that I think will be useful eventually TwT

The "My Holiday Glam" box adhered to the theme especially well! "Stress-free holiday" had some very fun products that were unusual, rather than the usual ampoule moisturiser deal :P

If you'd like to buy a Memebox before they stop International shipping outside of US/China, click here. They will be stopping on February 10th so I recommend stocking up because generally the boxes are good deals!

Or go on a strike and decide to not give them your business because of their decision, it's really your choice!

No February codes unfortunately for you guys unfortunately :( No one has any yet, but I'll update this post if I get any!

LONG TIME NO BLOG.

Before I do my post on #17, I'm going to do some PRODUCT REVIEWS from a few boxes I never did my first impressions on for various reasons (exams, video didn't work, etc etc)

I also just want all my info cards for my boxes in one place :P SO ANYWAY

Memebox Global #15




Miss.age Snail Anti Wrinkle Serum - something I've been using daily for about a week now! A serum was missing from my skincare routine... Of course nothing really visible happening with my skin, but I really like the texture and I'm quite into the snail trend lately so I'm happy this product was in the box (:

Tososwoong Makeon Lip Manicure - As I mentioned in my video, the formula is great and lasts forever and won't budge even with food/water (maybe time? I didn't test time actually)

THIS COLOUR THOUGH. IS IMPOSSIBLE :(



Definitely doesn't suit me - wish I received a different colour for this formula :(

Shara Shara I Wanna Pencil Gel Eyeliner - was simply awful. Already given it away. Was more of a pencil than a gel, didn't apply nicely - at least the colour was good but I just couldn't deal with the application of it, haha.







Memebox Global #16

Elizavecca Shrink Lifting R Pro - I got curious enough from other bloggers talking about this product to try it. My legs felt tired and after massaging them with this (which was actually lots of fun to do!) my legs actually felt a lot more relieved! I can't say anything about the shrinking though, but that wasn't why I was using the product anyway :P

Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream - GIVE ME ALL THE SNAIL PRODUCTS. I use this as a moisturising cream and I think it works well. It's clear, not scented, gentle, and a little goes a long way!

Memebox Special#13 Cooling Care



The Skin House Aloe Vera Mist - My new holy grail mist! I use it every day, especially because it's been hot in summer lately. It's so cooling and I like to do it in the morning to refresh my face~ It recommends using it instead of a toner and since I'm not a fan of toners anyway, this is THE perfect way for me to begin my skincare routine every morning ^^

Secret Key Intense Ice Sleeping Pack - Honestly I don't particularly care for the cooling effect on this pack. It is definitely intense though - you can really feel it deeply moisturising your skin. Don't ask how, it just feels like it okay? xP Secret key is a brand I trust now~ I was very happy to see this product in this box.

N.S.M Exciting Snow Cooling Tint - I really wanted to like this but I just didn't. The cooling effect felt weird to me. The colour was another red lip which I didn't need. Overall, meh.

awesome Aqua Whip Hug Foam Cleanser - I have very mixed feelings about this one. On one hand, I hate the smell and it stings my eyes. On the other hand, it does a good job of cleansing, and I can just stay far far away from my eye area. Overall, I think I'll finish the bottle, but not repurchase and try to find a foam cleanser that doesn't smell awful.



Memebox Special #12 Vitamin





Pure Smile Lip Treatment Mix Fruits - my HG lip balm! This tube is basically empty, so I ordered the honey one - unfortunately the honey one is nowhere near as nice tasting! I am definitely going to be hunting for this on my trip to Japan, as well as trying out the other flavours (: (There's chocolate which I have high hopes for!)

Evas Vitamin Sun Cream - I like this. The texture isn't heavy, and it doesn't spread well which is fair enough because it's meant to be just a sunscreen. The bottle is generous enough (and memebox provides enough sunscreen) for me to use it on my entire body. I think because it's so thin/light though, it's easy to feel like you're not actually protected. It's not like I've gotten any new sun spots or gotten a sun burn with this cream on though, so I can't say whether it does or doesn't work :P

Juicy Point Pads - I like these! These are fun. Just the packaging is enough to make me want to use them - too cute! I like to use them as a face mask too - sometimes a full mask requires you to lie down etc (well not hydrogel ones, but that's a story for another day) - so for busy gals who want to treat themselves on the go, these stay on while you're sitting upright! And they smell nice haha c:


As you can see, these were all great past products that contained lots of useful products ^^~ The ones I haven't reviewed are ones I haven't even used or opened yet because I'm so swarmed :P

JUST AN EDIT!

Somebody on reddit wanted me to do swatches of the Cheek Room Lip & Cheek Orange 01! So I thought I'd post it here too in case it would be helpful to someone =)



It's a bit more orange than what is seen here =)



On the right - a very light amount.
On the left - a normal amount, I really swirled my finger in there :P

Overall thoughts - very natural looking and great for brightening up your face! Doesn't look orange at all when applied =) Rather, it brings out the natural colour of your lips! Definitely a great product.

Silly me didn't actually try it on my cheeks! I rarely ever use blush which is why =(
