Brad's KBeauty Box "My Cute Box" Unboxing & Review

Hi everyone!

Have you heard of Brad's K Beauty box? It's one of the latest to hit the Australian market, alongside K beauty by K. Both of them are awesome awesome people and super friendly!

But I digress. Today I'm unboxing "Brad's My Cute Box"! This is the first official box that has been received in the general public!

This box was $30 + $10 for shipping. With a 10% off discount coupon code (that was available in a promotional time period upon release), I paid $37. (I'm going to have a discount code of my own for you guys at the end of this post! Stick around for that!)

Without further ado, let's get into the items!

The contents~
1. Tonymoly Fruit Princess Gloss in Peach (7USD on KoreaDepart)
2. Tonymoly Latte Art Cacao Pore Pack (11USD on KoreaDepart)
3. Etude House Wonder Pore Mixing Bowl  (4USD on EtudeHouse)
4. Etude House Help My Finger Pink Nail Ampoule  (2.50USD on EtudeHouse)
5. Tonymoly I'm Real Mask Sheet in Tea Tree ($1 on KoreaDepart (5 for <5USD)
6. Tonymoly Kiss Kiss Lovely Lip Patch ($2 on KoreaDepart (5 for 9USD)
7. Tonymoly Red Cheeks Girl's Patch ($2 on KoreaDepart (5 for 9USD)

+ Samples;
♥ The Face Shop Mango Seed Heart Volume Heart Butter
♥ The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Foam
♥ Face It BB Cream Power Perfection SPF37/ PA ++

Let's discuss the box!

Value ♥ 3/5
Unfortunately that comes about to $37 of value if you round up with exchange rates and such. $28.50USD becomes almost $37AUD exactly says a quick google search, Paypal exchange rates are more expensive though, and thus using those that 28.50USD might have cost more in AUD to buy.
You must also keep in mind these prices exclude shipping from KoreaDepart. So with $37, you can't actually afford to buy and get shipped to Australia every single item in the box.
Regardless, on paper, you are paying $37 and receiving back literally $37 in things shipped free to your door. =) Again, excluding shipping and time for research etc. Not necessarily a good or bad thing, just saying it like it is.

Theme ♥ 5/5
Everything is definitely cute! I'd have to comment that the gloss is the cutest thing there. The only thing I'd say that isn't "cute" there is maybe the bowl, but even then the colour is cute, it's small, and it's a bowl specifically for mixing products we don't even have. ie. probably useless = cute. I was discussing this with my friends this day - cute things are either small or useless once you think about it. :P Just kidding guys, I know I'll use the bowl and the material is kind of nifty and unique. The website describes it as "rubbery" and thus perfect for modelling packs. Hmm!

Curation ♥ 4/5
Slightly different to theme - this box's curation is pretty decent. Most things in there are fairly useable for everyone - lip gloss is definitely appealing and a makeup staple, even for those who don't use too much makeup. There's skincare and even nail care. The masks are different sorts for different areas!
The only thing keeping the curation from being a 5/5 is that everything is from two brands - Etude House and Tonymoly. And even though those two brands are two very well-loved brands (heck they're my two favourite Korean brands, I'm just going to come out and say it) - these boxes should be about trying new things, and although the nail ampoule is new to me, I'd like to be discovering new brands too. I know that to kbeauty newbies these of course will be new, but I know some veterans who will want to be buying these boxes too!
This might just be too close to a "My Cute TonyMoly Box" rather than just a "My Cute Box".

Presentation ♥ 4/5

Look at the cute bag everything came in!

Even a tag with a handwritten note - aww! I didn't notice that while I was unboxing in my video, oops. Everything was neatly inside, and there were even some official looking K Beauty by Brad stickers sealing the bag and the package on the outside. Really nicely done!
An information card and an actual BOX is coming soon too for future boxes so nothing more to say on presentation :D But when these things come, I'm sure I'll give the whole box a 5/51

Overall ♥ 4/5
Definitely a box I would recommend for kbeauty lovers and especially people new to the kbeauty world! I know a lot of my friends would definitely be impressed with EVERYTHING in this box.
I think I got some great items I'll definitely use. I can't wait to see my friends react to this little gloss, and Snapchat my friends with those masks on (even though I always Snapchat them really crazy masks... Who knows, maybe one of these will surprise them, haha!)
The coffee latte art is just LOVE and I can't wait to try it. The box hits all the nails and it's only just come out from a very new company! It's crazy and it's only going to get better and more amazing. ^^ I know soon it will be hitting that 5/5 =DD

Glamour Affair Sydney 2015 - Amazing blogger/youtuber event ~

Hi everyone!

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Glamour Affair event in Sydney!

For those of you who don't know, Glamour Affair is an amazing blogger/youtuber event run by the lovely Melissa Bubbles and Erin from 3 Bs blog.

It's a day of meeting the lovely people we only knew in the Internet world finally, of discovering new beauty products and ideas, and also fun games and food!

Upon entering I got a cute name tag and for being one of the first few people I got this cute gift bag~

Proceeded to sit on some comfy looking chairs and that's when I met Leah from TemporaryPrincess! She's so sweet and she takes the prettiest flatlay pictures, you guys should go check her blog out!

Afterwards we were told to go find our seats...

Look at all the bags! We couldn't even sit down because those huge goody bags were taking up our spaces. haha :P

The lovely ladies I had the pleasure of sitting next to throughout the presentations!

Ingrid from fabulousandfunlife and Brittany from brittanykate1993!

(Shella Martin looking stunning omg)
First on the schedule was the lovely Shella Martin (celebrity makeup artist! She's done Tina Arena!)  telling us about how important skincare was to doing makeup =)

It was extremely informative and she worked magic on these girls!

We also had Boe Professional ladies telling us about the brand and having some games with prizes! oooo~

The Lush presentation was really interactive - SO many freebies! Their edible lip scrubs was one of my favourite items to try - you just scrubbed your lips and then ate it afterwards! Delicious~

Rosehip+, Revvies and Enbacci also had some short presentations!

I wish I had a shot of Enbacci's because it was amongst my favourites - the CEO came and personally talked to us and she was so lovely and she had an AMAZING dress on... (Why didn't I take a picture?!)

Then we had some games! We had missions to do instagram photos with a person we randomly selected out of a hat... Here's what I did to a photo of poor Georgia from theweekendattic...

A photo posted by (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・✧ (@pynkbunnyy) on

Haha, they wanted us to be creative! So I did what I did best and massacred the photo with too many sparkles!

These were the two photos that won awesome prizes - so creative and funny!

A photo posted by Leah (@temporaryprincess) on

After all of that, it was finally the end... Many photos were to be had!

I didn't get to meet every single person, but I wish I could have!

Everyone was so nice and friendly and I had such a blast!

SELFIE SPAM~~

Me and Susie from Snooooziee~ We met through her beauty chat group and she's actually the reason I even found out about the event, so I'm mad grateful <3 She's as hilarious in real life as she is on her channel! XDD

The lovely Dee from Dee K Australia ~ How amazing does her hair and makeup look?! Her face is like glowing and radiant and -sigh-~ I could never get my hair to look that amazing and curly! She does a lot of Australian makeup videos - she works at Priceline so she knows what's up!

Messy from MessyDownunder! I don't even know why I'm linking her, because you probably definitely already know of her, but there the link is if you don't. She's so funny and pretty and nice and aaaaarghh /i'mnotaweirdstarstruckweirdo
SHE WAS LIKE ONE OF THE FIRST AUS YOUTUBERS I ever watched but I was subscribed to her with my non-youtuber channel (if that makes sense)! So when she subscribed to my main channel I was like O_O" WHOA #youtubergoals. :D

And of course Melissa Bubbles! Our wonderful event organiser actually does pretty great beauty videos =) I learnt the compact beauty hack off of her channel! ^^

OH and no selfie, but funny story - I met the adorably sweet Lily from lilynotlouise while we were lined up in the bathroom! Bwahaha~ Super informative blog, go check it out!

Again, I really wish I could have met more of you! (And I probably will now that I have a bunch of your instagram and blog names, hehe.)

BUT soon enough, the day was over and we were all out of time :(

And so after we all said our byes, it was finally time to go home..

But wait... Going home doesn't mean the end yet...

Yes... I drove home and in my sleep-deprived & exhausted state (all the excitement was exhausting, okay?!), I did an UNBAGGING VIDEO.

I KNOW. IT'S LONG. I TRIED TO MAKE IT QUICK BUT I HONESTLY COULDN'T. BECAUSE THAT BAG IS BASICALLY BOTTOMLESS GUYS. BOTTOMLESS.
(Okay not literally, but you know what I mean!)

I'll do a separate blogpost with the contents for those who hate videos, but this post has already gone on way too long!

So expect that soon... I'm finally going to go and nod off though, so until next time, thank you guys for reading!

FINAL SHOUTOUT TO GLAMOUR AFFAIR'S MAJOR SPONSORS~

Skindinavia (Award-winning makeup finishing spray! + more beauty products~)

Priceline Skincare Gift Bag Goody Bag - Unbagging, Breakdown & Review

Hi everyone!

Did you know Priceline does regular "destash" goody bags, just like we try to do with our own makeup/skincare? :P

This skincare goody bag was the biggest one yet, so I knew I had to be in on it!

It started today (Thursday 16th June 2015) and there were fliers everywhere~

To get it, you had to buy $69 or more on participating brands~

Participating Brands: Antipodes, Biore, Burts Bees, Avene, Bondi Sands, Dr. Lewinns, Innoxa, Pure Paw Paw, Lanolips, Model Co, Jergens, Laboratoire Pharmaceutique, Le Tan, Montagne Jeunesse, Nuxe, Physiogel, Rosken, Swisspers, Palmers, Essano, Sukin, Thursday Plantation, Formula 10.0.6, Key Sun, lOreal, Neutrogena, Oxa, Bioderma, Nivea, Garnier.

(In store, a lot of these brands were on sale too!)

Without further ado, I''m going to show you what came in my bag...

SO MUCH STUFF! This is excluding the four free vouchers - ModelCo Cleanser of your choice, Innoxa Cleanser of your choice, Physiogel Cream and Garnier Skin Cream. ALL FULL SIZE.

Let's have a breakdown...

Tanning items
1. Bondi Sands Mitts (RRP $10)
2. Le Tan Instant Tan in Dark Bronze 110ml (RRP $13.50)

I don't tan, but definitely know some tanning junkies would be all over it. :P A miss for me personally though.

Cleansing
3. Sukin Detoxifying Clay Masque 50ml (RRP $16 for 100ml, $8)
4. Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser 200ml (RRP $14)
5. Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub 135ml (RRP $10)
6. Montagne Jeunesse Blemish Mud Mask (RRP $4)

Especially excited for the Sukin clay mask! The rest though.. I'm very set (as in, have too much of) on cleansers in general...

Hand creams
7. Essano Rosehip Nourishing Hand Creme in Wild Rose and Jojoba 120ml (RRP $15)
8. Rosken Intensive Moisture Hand Cream 75ml (RRP $4)

The Essano hand creme looks really nice! Loving the pink packaging, it looks sleek and cute at the same time. Rosehip oil is a much-loved ingredient and I'm curious to know what it'll do for my hands! The other hand cream I'll probably give away though.

Oils
9. Thursday Plantation Nurture Oil Bio-Perfecting 60ml (RRP $13.49)
10. Antipodes Apostle Skin-Brightening & Tone-Correcting Serum 10ml sample (RRP $60 for 30ml, $20)
11. Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse (One use sample)

I repeat - RRP $60?! For this Antipodes Serum? It's also sold in Myer for $59, so the story checks out. We have a fancy pants item here guys. :K who doesn't love free expensive skincare? How do people justify spending this much on a product they've never tried before?! Excited!

Moisturiser
12. Antipodes Vanilla  Pod Hydrating Day Cream (one use sample)
13. Dr Lewinn's Multi-Moisture Balm 50g (RRP. $30)
14. Jergens Daily Moisture 250ml (RRP $6)
15. Palmer's Shea Butter Formula With Vitamin E Lotion 250ml (RRP. $7.50)

Palmer's! YAY!
That Antipodes sachet also sounds nice. The rest I'll probably use to see how it goes, but don't know much/currently have no strong feelings about.

"After-moisturiser"?

16. L'oreal Paris Revitalift Magic Blur Instant Skin Smoother Finishing Cream 30ml (RRP $25)
17. Garnier Miracle Skin Cream (5ml sample)

Again, no strong feelings. I should mention that you also get a voucher for the full size of the Garnier, but more on that later.

Lips

18. Pure Paw Paw Ointment in Strawberry 25g (RRP $6)
19. Lanolips 101 Ointment in Rose SPF15 12.5ml(RRP $14)
20. Nivea Lip Butter Unscented 16.7g (RRP $5.69)
21. Key Sunn Zinke SPF50+ in Pink 12g (RRP $4)
22. La Roche Posay Cicaplast Soothing Repairing Balm 7.5ml sample (RRP $16 for 40ml, ~$3)

SO MANY LIP ITEMS. I LOVE LIPCARE. I WILL LOVE AND USE ALL OF THIS.
The Zinke does confuse me just a little bit though - I don't feel like I've ever seen this item in Priceline, and even search the Priceline website doesn't offer any Key Sun items... Weird..
And hey... isn't there meant to be a Burt's Bees lip product here?! D:

Face wipes

23. Swisspers Original Unscented Facial Cleansing Wipes (25 wipes) (RRP $6.30)
24. Formula 10.0.6 Wipe Your Face off Make-up Removing Facial Wipes in Pink Grapefruit and Apple (25 wipes) (RRP $7)

I know that Formula 10.0.6 is very popular - I love the packaging of this wipe and make-up removal wipes are always welcome! I will give both a go, both sound really nice!

Miscellaneous
25. Swisspers 400 Cotton Tips (RRP $5.80)
26. Avene Eau Thermale Spring Water Mist 50ml (RRP $10)
27. Innoxa Organic Brightening Eye Creme 15ml (RRP $20)

I needed new cotton tips! I really wanted the pads pictured in the sample bag but seeing other people's unbaggings - no one was getting the cotton pads and everyone was getting the tips, which was a shame. The Avene is such a perfect summer item (it's currently freezing in Sydney though) but a welcome addition to my stash. The Innoxa Organic Eye Creme is probably one of the highlights of the bag for me! My dark circles are my main problem area!

Vouchers!

28. ModelCo Cleanser - choose from their Gel Cleanser, Cream Cleanser or Cleansing Foam (RRP $15)
29. Innoxa Cleanser - choose from Innoxa's Renew Triple Action Gel Wash, Renew Anti-Ageing Exfoliator, or Super Sensitive Creme Cleansing Milk (RRP $18)
30. Physiogel Calming Relief Cream 50ml sample (RRP. $13 for 100ml, $6.50 sample)
31. Garnier Miracle Skin Cream 50ml (RRP $20)

So these vouchers work the same as the Priceline Sister Club ones would I assume. There's a barcode and you take it in store and let them scan it to redeem your free product. :)

So what was the total value of this bag?

$321

(*thank you Benscrub Indonesia for drawing my attention to things and helping me fix this number up!)

Excluding the Garnier sample ($2) and the Nuxe (not sure what to value this at.)

Over $400? $323 seems hardly. Then again, they will probably just claim the bag itself is worth over $80...? =/

Meh! I'm still really happy with the bag, just amused that it doesn't calculate to be over $400. Even if I was rather generous with the RRPs (I mean $5.80 for a pack of cotton buds? pls Priceline)

If you assume everything was 40% off (like the typical skincare sale that Priceline does have semi-regularly), then everything in this bag could have been purchased with $192.60.

Still great value. And you still got the original $69+ of things you bought in the first place. :)

Anyway, this was a LOOOOONG POST. It took a look amount of time because I had to individually search up the prices of everything, but you guys are worth it ;) I would've loved something like this for when I was deciding if I was going to get the bag or not, so I hope someone finds this helpful.

Of course be sensible - even though it's a lot of stuff, if you'll use only one item worth $20 in here it's not worth your money. I'm a sucker for gift with purchase promotions too, but I knew I'd definitely get my money's worth from this bag from looking at the picture.

Personally, I thought this was a fantastic bag with lots of products that I personally will use or have been wanting to try. The value is pretty great and the item selection and range of things is HUGE! Very well-rounded bag that covers most aspects of Western skincare.

If you want to see my first impressions of it as I was unbagging, here's my video as always!

Here's what you add to your cart online once you've carted your $69 or more of qualifying item. HERE

The promotion started on June 18 and technically runs until July 1st, but I think they will definitely run out by then, so be quick if you want one to avoid disappointment!

This is linked up with fabulousandfunlife!

Hope you guys enjoyed and I'll talk to you guys again very soon!

xoxo

pynkbunny~

-x- A QUICK UPDATE to this post:

Priceline did quote the RRP of the bag itself to be $40. They have also been fantastic in sending replacement items, so that the value of the bag did end up reaching just over $400. If you had any missing items with your own bag, contact their customer service! It's quite excellent :)

Haul, Mini-review: Tonymoly Delight Mono Shadow, FOTD, OOTD... IDK my day in general? O_O THIS POST IS EVERYTHINGGGG

Hi everyone!

I did a bit of shopping today. And by a bit, I mean, quite a bit.

But by far the best finds were all Asian beauty related and UNDER $3 EACH.

Those Tonymoly Delight mono eyeshadows? Would you like to guess how much they were?

I purchased them from AHA in Parramatta Westfields - that's a physical store located in Sydney, Australia. For those of you who aren't unfamiliar, everything in Australian physical stores are REALLY EXPENSIVE/marked up compared to real life.

I was browsing around, just wanting to laugh at how ridiculous the prices were (which I mostly did) - but THESE BEAUTIES WERE $2 EACH. AND THERE WERE SO MANY COLOURS.

(They also had the Tonymoly I'm Real masks for 10 for $15, which isn't bad! I regret not taking pictures now, this store/stall actually had quite a lot of things...)

Anyway, I'm not usually a mono kind of gal, but I just knew I had to pick a few up. They're handy to just chuck in your purse, they had over 20 colours with testers just begging me to test them, and I have to support AB in Australia of course! ;)

They open up like this and you can close them back up. Of course it's just plastic but it's not actually to flimsy - like flimsy but not sushi takeaway container flimsy, more like Dhinese take away container grade plastic where you know it'll hold your food but not really withstand pressure. :P.

These are decently pigmented and show up well whilst still remaining kind of "background" colours! I'm pretty impressed. The silver is by far the least pigmented and would apply over matte colours to add shimmer nicely. All three colours are VERY shimmery and gorgeous!

I love shimmery colours!

They had a few matte shades too but none that appealed to me.

I wish I bought more - in fact I'll probably be going back to buy more next chance I get because for $2each, I don't think that's beatable and I seriously just want everything to play with.

The store wasn't selling the palette you're meant to put these in, which I suspect might be part of the reason they're on sale, but I think they're fine as they are. They'll survive being tossed around in your purse. At least, I think they would - I'll be finding out! They're so light and compact.

My Verdict!
♥ Pigment: 3/5 (These Tonymoly shadows are very buildable, but still rather sheer. They make for perfect subtle "overall lid" colours. So not as pigmented as let's say, the UD Naked shadows, but that's why I chose them! So much more forgiving for an eyeshadow newbie like me!)
♥ Price: 5/5 ($2each WHAAAT.)
♥ Colour Range: 4/5 (So many shimmery and matte colours, mainly neutrals and very wearable colours.)
♥ Packaging: 3.5/5 (Even though it's light, portable and compact standalone, you are supposed to buy a separate palette to contain it since it's flimsy. They could just make these individual packs sturdier!)
♥ Texture: 5/5! (So easy to apply and feels like nothing on!)

As for the Daiso facial plate... Facial massage is awesome! If you haven't seen one of these before, they're for scraping your face to make it look skinnier. (Yes, seriously!) There are tutorials for it online and it's rather easy to do ^^ I'd highly recommend looking into it if you haven't already!

$2.80 is seriously an unbeatable price for one of these. (Even on ebay they're at least $3. And they're green. :K) And finally I've managed to catch one, which I'm really happy about since I stalk Daiso basically religiously and it hasn't been in stock.

(Still hunting for the Silicone facial mask holder thing, grr!)

Everytime I walk into Daiso I walk out with at least a few things, so I felt like it was an achievement to leave with only one thing I had been hunting for.

(Actually, that's because just a few days previously, I bought this little lot of things..)

Reviews of these items later - don't want to crowd this post :P

So all this shopping started with an innocent catchup over breakfast...

FOTD:

I love my pocky!

Went with a kind of everyday natural look and a subtle pink lip ^^ ~

Makeup for this look ~

AB:
♥ Dr G Bling Bling Cream
♥ Dolly Wink Liquid Black Eyeliner
♥ Canmake Cover & Stretch Concealer
♥ Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Lash  Meister
♥ Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
♥ Daiso Basecoat Mascara (for my eyebrows!)

Non-AB:
♥ Rimmel Stay Matte Finishing Powder in Sandstorm
♥ Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Lolita
♥ NARS Orgasm
♥ Colourpop Lippie Stix in Rocket Satin

-- end Asian Beauty relevance, the rest is just a post about my day now :) --

OOTD:

I was feeling very pink and girly for a day of very girly catchup and shopping~

We met up at Paper Plane Cafe at about 8:30!

(I wanted to go to Shinara to try their big breakfast, but Roo refused. XD)

Delicious breakfast menu :)

Everything was so nicely presented and prepared quickly!

The atmosphere was very nice and homely :)

After we were full and energised, we were READY TO SHOP.

It was her last hoorah before Ramadan, and for me it was my first time being out since after finals, so you can guess what happened...

oops...

This was my full haul, non-AB and all~

(Also bought a few presents that aren't pictured in case the recipients read this post ;))

Finished the day co-casting FaceIt Pro League with Tom for Bad News Studio ~ (a dota2 casting studio I'm a part of! We're very new but it's a load of fun and we're the official casters for the upcoming Tita Tournament!)

(I know not too many of you would be interested, but it's mainly just here to confirm it's me XP)

Maybe you guys enjoy this kind of thing? WHO KNOWS, I DON'T, I'M JUST HAVING FUN.
